HtmlCleaner is a handy, small HTML parser developed using the Java programming language. It transforms dirty HTML to well-formed XML following the same rules that the most web browsers use.
HTML found on the Web is usually dirty, ill-formed and unsuitable for further processing. For any serious consumption of such documents, it is necessary to first clean up the mess and bring the order to tags, attributes and ordinary text.
HtmlCleaner manages to reorder individual elements and produce well-formed XML.
